STANDARD NEGATIVE KEYWORDS LIST

Do you want to prevent unrelated searches to spend your budget?

People like to do a lot of research types of queries like “how to”, “is it”, “where to” and that’s why is so important to have your universal negative keyword list at the beginning to be able to sculp your traffic and get only high intent searches.This is a negative keyword list that I often use on the account level and the majority of them are applicable to many types of businesses and niches. These are the negative keywords like: “salary”, “jobs”, “hiring” etc.

But keep in mind that not completely all of them are applicable to every account out there so you should do a double check on this list in case you need to remove some negative keywords that are actually appropriate and positive for your business.

For example, some of the negative keywords are not necessarily universal like “free”, “cheap” and those could be used as positive keywords in some cases.
