Overview

Vedas Medical Spa & Wellness Center, a full-service Medspa in The Woodlands, partnered with me to improve their search engine visibility and increase traffic from high-intent keywords related to their services. While the business had a solid local presence and offered a wide range of aesthetic and wellness services, their website struggled to rank for competitive keywords—especially those with strong commercial intent.

Challange

When I took over their SEO, the site was facing a serious problem: over 70 pages were causing duplicated content issues. Many blog articles were unintentionally competing with service pages by targeting the same high-intent keywords (e.g., “microneedling,” “botox,” etc.), which significantly harmed their ability to rank.

Fixing this was a daunting and time-consuming task that required carefully auditing and restructuring the content architecture. In Phase 1 (On-Page SEO), I resolved these duplication conflicts by pruning, merging, and redirecting competing pages. This allowed service pages to regain authority and begin ranking more effectively.

Strategy & Execution

✓ Content Expansion

The original service pages were extremely thin—many had just 100-200 words. I rewrote and expanded every single one of the 70+ service pages, quadrupling the word count to allow deeper keyword targeting and provide actual value to readers.

✓ Local SEO + “Near Me” Optimization

None of the pages were originally optimized for “near me” queries—a huge missed opportunity. I integrated localized keywords and proximity-based phrases across service pages. Because most local competitors were not targeting these keywords, Vedas Medspa quickly started ranking for “near me” searches within the first few months, driving a measurable increase in local traffic.

✓ Location Page Buildout

To go after long-tail, low-competition traffic, I built over 100 service-based pages for nearby cities including Spring, Conroe, Magnolia, Tomball, Shenandoah, and more. This significantly expanded their SEO footprint and helped capture leads from outside The Woodlands.

Ongoing Results

SEO performance is steadily improving month over month. Keyword rankings are climbing, traffic is increasing, and service pages are converting better thanks to stronger content and improved relevance.
